very nice picture, is indeed a dragonfly could be -Sympetrum striolatum- but I'm not sure sorry for scientific name but I don't know what it is called in english, cause I'm dutch
i would have to weigh in with damsel fly, but it would be nice to have some sense of scale to be sure. i shoot a lot of dragonflies, and they tend to look bigger than this with longer wings.
